OUR Events

Each year, our team set up a 'Second-Hand Book & Jigsaw Stall' at local village fetes in order to help raise funds for the Library. In 2024, we will be attending the following events:

• Low Ackworth Family Fun Day, Saturday 12th May
• Ackworth Gala, Saturday 22nd June
• Badsworth Village Day, Saturday 13th July

Please be sure to pop along and help support the Library.

Our Storytime With Debbie continues to be a firm favourite with all the village pre-schoolers. Taking place every Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning, the Storytimes are a great way for parents and children to socialise.

Every school holiday, the Library team put on a host of crafting activities for local kids looking for fun. To book your place for the upcoming Summer Holiday activities, please get in touch.

Our very popular Coffee Mornings take place every Friday morning in the Library

On Saturday 16th November 2024, the Ackworth Community Library will host their annual craft fair at Ackworth Village Club. 

The annual fair helps raise funds for our charity. 

Meeting every third Monday from 7pm, the resident Ackworth Community Library book club is open to all. If you love reading and want to meet with like-minded folk, please come along.
