Our Services

The Library now has over 10,000 books available to borrow, books to suit readers of all ages: from early years and young adults, to adult fiction and non-fiction. 

The Library also stocks a selection of audio titles, and a range of reference books and magazines, not to mention a large selection of books for sale. 

Members can borrow up to six items at a time for a period of three weeks.

The Library offers affordable refreshments, including hot and cold drinks, snacks and homemade buns and cakes. 

The Library also hosts a hugely popular Coffee Morning every Friday morning.

As a registered charity, all proceeds go to keeping the Library open.

We provide library services to a number of local schools. 

As well as providing topic books, the school hosts regular class visits, giving primary school students an introduction to library life.

We also run regular after-school and school holiday activities. These are very popular and need to be booked in advance.
